I am in the middle of reading a crazily profound book by the amazing, philosophically deep Paulo Coelho, entitled "ALEPH"
I'm only a little more than halfway through and already I have gained SO MUCH INSIGHT! So deep. So profound. Ah my goodness. I will perhaps do a full review once I've finished reading it.
Here's an excerpt from his book. It is easily one of the best things i've ever read in my life
"I will be capable of loving regardless of whether I am loved in return,
Of giving when I have nothing,
Of working happily even in the midst of difficulties,
Of holding out my hand even when utterly alone and abandoned,
Of drying my tears even while I weep,
Of believing when no one believes in me"
I suppose that this would be my life's mission as an ever-growing, self-discovering individual. An honestly, it is after all what Christianity is basically about.
If only every human being who breathes and walks on the face of planet earth is capable of all these. The world would seriously be a much better place.
