A great start to June!

I had an absolutely wonderful weekend!
I really needed it especially after my emotional meltdown last Friday night. and now I'm feeling a lot better! :) Makes me realize more and more that I really do need to tend to my "extrovert" needs more, which is to socialize and essentially interact with and be around people. Pro-longed periods of isolation i.e staying cooped in my room will really seriously drive me NUTS.
But that's what Miri has done to me haha I have toned down a lot over the years and I've learned to live in isolation, which is actually going against the nature of who I am, however that is not the point here, I will leave that story for another day! haha.
MAN. I didn't think I would enjoy it so much, since I didn't really have a special 'appreciation' for the first 2 Hangover movies, just thought it was 'meh..' haha. however this one.. man I think Hangover 3 is the best! and the movie went by so fast, like no time passed at all (I hate movies that are just such a drag to watch and you can't wait for it to finish lol)..man.. SO FREAKING HILARIOUS OH GOD SERIOUSLY I was laughing so hard! And the audience in the cinema was AWESOME TOO! Everybody was laughing like crazy, and everybody's all sorts of different kinds of laughter was funny and infectious too hahahah so much good energy going around!
Last Saturday night I hung out with the girls since Kim was flying back to KL the next day. We hung out and had late dinner at Ming Cafe.. (where I totally destroyed my diet, again hahaha don't worry i'll get back on track soon) LOL
Long Island Tea! Totally buzzed me up.. love it!
With Emma ma Brahhh and Kim!
With Karen and Eunice!
We did hang out a bit with other people that night, but they were only around for a while. Haha. We stayed on till about 12am and headed home. Had such a swell time!
And today, I went to church with this group of people from KK -- Scott, Velvet, Melanie, Lauren and Sharon. (Bren's parents are in town so she's kinda busy I think, couldn't go to church with her huhu) so I had to sorta break out of my comfort zone a bit and ask around for transport hahaha.
Asked Velvet via FB if there was a bus to church, turns out there isn't HOWEVER she managed everything from then on, I didn't even have to ask for her help she just straight on asked Scott if I could join them to church the next day. Which was very nice and I appreciated that to no ends!
So we went to church, had lunch at some cafe where we had some pretty interesting conversations, then we headed to the cinema and watched... HANGOVER 3!!!!!!

I FREAKING loved it. Wouldn't mind watching it again! Oh and Bradley Cooper.. man he is one freaking sexy BEAST. damn it! hahah.
After the movie we stopped by at T4 to have a drink, where we talked and hung out some more :)

Before hanging out with this group I was kind of feeling apprehensive about joining them cause it was my very first time...well I've known Scott for quite a while now since high school and lifeteen but it was still my first time going to church with him too!
But it turns out that they are such an accepting group of people. They do not make you feel left out AT ALL, and they are such full of love. Kinda ironic since they're like 4-5 years younger than me (damn) and Scott's 2 years younger so I am like.. the old hag in the group hahahah but they're really nice and make you feel like family!
Scott said to me while sending us home "I'm glad you joined us today" and then I said "oh I'm so glad to hear that cause I feel like I'm this alien invading your little group" then all of them almost exclaimed in unison "noooooo!" hahaha then they were all telling me how I shouldn't be feeling that way and everything and that they were basically glad to have me! Man. Feel so accepted and loved. Haha.
Also since everybody was from KK we were of course talking a lot in our Sabahan accents. LOL. Today was a taste of home. which was really nice I loved it. I had such a wonderful day.
God is good!
