It has been about 11 days since I have set foot on the soil of ze dear bittersweet Miri, Sarawak.
For some people time is already starting to move at a bullet train-pace but for me, time is moving at such a friggin' sluggish barely-moving snail-pace. It's not even 2 weeks but it feels like I've been here FORRREVERR....
I am taking only 3 subjects this semester. And I am not used to it. Because suddenly I have an abundance of time on my hands.. 1 subject less seriously makes a stark contrast. Can't imagine having 1 subject extra.
and if there is one thing about this that drives me up the wall, it is the fact that I am BORED out of my friggin' mind. I have never been so bored in my entire life. hahaha.
A quick review of my class schedule: One class on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, two classes on Wednesdays and no classes on Thursdays. I mean seriously...
I get out of class with the rest of the day ahead free and I question myself.. "Now what?" Maybe I could just giddy up on my imaginary unicorn and fly to the land of magical forests and leprechauns...
Like I seriously would rather be crazy busy and be exhausted at the end of the day.
I've gotten to that point in my student life where I would so much rather have a class to go to than just rot at home. Hahahah.
AND YESSS, I am completely aware of how I can choose to go full-on crazy-geeky-studious-student mode and make use of the time I have to revise what I have learned or start assignments (super) early but NO.. I don't want to (cause I don't feel like it) even if it takes the boredom away hahahaha.
So I decided to google "things to do when you're bored at home" (yes I was THAT bored) and I didn't resort to ANY of the suggestions listed... hahaha.
INSTEAD, I resorted to THIS:
MY DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION DANCE MAT!!
I TOTALLY forgot I had this. Bought it a few years ago.
It just flashed in my mind like a lightbulb,"OH I have a DANCE MAT! I wonder if it still works???"
And it STILL WORKS! YAY.
Though I did have to download the entire gaming platform and had to go through a series of research to get the thing working.. so much technical stuff, had to crack my brain, I wonder how I even managed to get everything working.. hahaha.
So it did alleviate some of the boredom.
I am SOOO glad it works. and it is SOOO much better than sitting down just staring at
the laptop surfing aimlessly on the internet.....or giddying up on an imaginary unicorn.
It's fun, and it burns calories. How can anything else compete with that. Hahaha.

Went out for dinner with le girlss (Epah, Marianne, GG and their housemate) at Kent's Garden just now and GAWD was I SO glad to get out of the house. Hahaha.

We bumped into Dal, Eda and Salina so we all ended up having dinner together. Then another 3 came so in the end there were like..11 of us sitting at this long-ass table. Haha.
KENT'S GARDEN is seriously a GORGEOUS place. I love it there. Like, love it love it love it!

Well it doesn't look that great up there but it's seriously so pretty in really life.
Marianne and I were swooning over how it makes this soothing chime-like sound when the wind blows.
Haha.
It was a good dinner, had a great time chatting with them gurrlsss. Totally made my day :)
OHHH, and there was a stunning sunset just now
Makes my heart leap. Haha.
And I shall now conclude this post. It is 11:17pm and I have to get to sleep cause I have a friggin 8.30am class tomorrow which lasts for 3 friggin hours on a friggin FRIDAY, like whuuuuttt hahhaa.
