Happy New Year everyone!
I know I've been MIA lately, (well not that you would actually care LOL), since the last time I blogged I have actually been feeling a little less inclined to blog/document recent happenings/events that have been going on in my life --- most probably because so much has happened that I wouldn't be able to keep up if I blogged about everything. haha. December was definitely a phenomenal month! Now let me share with you how I ushered in the new year :)
My new year celebration was pretty low key. I was actually not feeling very well, had a sore throat and all. So I wasn't feeling excited or anything, I almost wanted to stay home and just sleep my way into the new year. HAHA. Which is SO TOTALLY UNLIKE me, if you know me...
But my sister sorta forced me to go out and was all "ko gila ka nda celebrate countdown you must be mad" hahaha. Obviously she knows me ;)
Had dinner at Toscani's. The food there has deteriorated, not as nice as before. Which is a bummer.. it used to be really nice. But i'd still go there cause it's a nice place.

Since we had time to kill after dinner, we proceeded to Starbucks to chill out.

Fun (or maybe not so fun) Fact!:
My first Starbucks beverage for 2011 was a green tea frap.
So for my very last Starbucks beverage 2011, I had a green tea frap too.
Full circle..
Then about 15 minutes to 12md Sis and I walked over to Waterfront.
Then we went searching for a bar where we could "tumpang" countdown. HAHA.
At first we wanted to tumpang countdown at Bed (from outside), like how we did last year.
But we couldn't cause they closed the curtains. SO SAD.
Then we ended up at Cock and Bull.
And there, we encountered a typically weird overly desperate desperado who tried to "kacau"
my sis and I. HAHA biasalah tu. It was funny though. haha!
So anyway.

So we had our countdown there. It was so-so. The countdown was a bit sluggish,
in a sense that it was a bit slow and un-hyped.
And they played Auld Lang Syne after the countdown.
Auld Lang Syne? Seriously?
Punya boring and lame.
But it's ok. A countdown is still a countdown!
Oh and the people at the table we were standing next to were so..omg.
Such boring people, macam KAYU.
They just stayed in their seats. And played with their phones.
Bagus kalau skejap ja. Lama lagi tu. And they were barely moving about.....
Party animal fail.
HAHAHAH!
Well.
It still doesn't beat Bed's countdown. Bed's countdown last year was the BOMB.
Amazing, AMAZING energy and awesome music, with fire literally being thrown in the air.
Moving on..
After Cock and Bull Sis and I adjourned at The Loft!

Sis wanted to drink, so she had a San Miguel Light.
I settled for a Shirley Temple cause prior to that I had a terrible, TERRIBLE hangover
and was still in the state of alcohol trauma, namely a tequila trauma. HAHA
(I had a bit too much to drink during a mini house party I hosted earlier on in that week :P)
So Sis and I were busy chatting away when suddenly out of nowhere the dude from the next table
came up to me.
He bought me a San Miguel Light. He handed it over to me and said
"For you. Happy New Year"
hahahaaha. didn't see that one coming.
Too bad I HATE beer
(and had to throw the content down into the drainage after we left the place cause I just couldn't drink it.
don't sue me.
HAHA. I still have the bottle though hahaha matai)
Because he wasn't a typically weird overly desperate desperado (like the previous guy & a lot of other guys in clubs/pubs) and because he was, most importantly, young (and not some creepy old man. ew) I thought that it was really really sweet and it made my night :) guess he was just being nice. and no, he didn't buy my sis a beer in case you're curious haha.
So we went home after that, and my sore throat had gone worse by that time, exacerbated by all the smoke from the pubs we went to.
And yes, I spent the first day of 2012 being sick, immobilized and bedridden.
hahaha oh well!
And that, dear reader, is how I celebrated my new years..nothing much. How was yours?!
OH AND OH AND OH!
Before we went to Toscani's for dinner Sis and I dropped by at Suria cause Sis wanted to use her RM 50 Metrojaya voucher..
And she ended up spending it on me, cause the item she wanted was not in stock.
She bought me a Dior Eyeliner. YAYY! :D
So happy.
Thanks Sis for buying me this. Sorry about your Chanel nail polish not being in stock :(

I have been a religious user of eyeliner since I was 15 and I have tried tonnes upon tonnes of different kinds of eyeliner, and I have used Dior before, and it is the best. I tell you.
(Btw if you want to know what's the worst eyeliner i've ever used, it has to be Silky Girl's. Sucks to the max. Don't ever buy it girls. I beg you. hahahha)
